There's nothing like a rumor to get a small regional town talking. As most know, The Redesdale has a rich history spanning back to the 1860's where our historic bluestone pub and the Mia Mia bridge over the Campaspe River, were built around the same time. Featuring heavily in Goldfields lore, legend has been circulating around the bar and dining room that the infamous Ned Kelly was once held in our original cellar, under the bar, en route to justice. Rumor or fact, this is certainly one more reason to bring your debating skills to the bar and talk it up with our locals. More on this in coming months.
